The school behind my house was playing "Tainted Love" By Soft Cell over and over again this morning. I mean literally, over and over again. It would end and then they would start it over at the beginning.
Sometimes on Fridays they play music over the P.A system for the kids. I imagine it's because they've been good or achieved some sort of goal. Usually they play the Beatles or some shit like that. Never anything that a junior high kid would like. Like Nelly or My Chemical Romance or whatever.
This Tainted Love shit was odd though. Over and over again. I was asleep when they started and then it creeped into my dream. I was in a car and the song came onto the radio, in my dream. When i awoke i was really confused, i wasn't sure if i was really awake or what? Weird.
I wonder what the deal was. I called over there to ask but the line was busy. Prolly other neighborhood folks were doing the same thing. I'm pretty patient about noise and I like Soft Cell but imagine if you didn't. Imagine it being played over and over again. LOUDLY! Super loudly. Like Louder then bombs loud. Maybe it was punishment. Well, i'm going to get to the bottom of this. I'll let you know what's what.......
