So i collect comics. It's not a big deal. Tons of dudes do. For the most part it's a fun but expensive hobby. It's worth it overall. I like the stories. The mytholgy, the characters and the art. What does kind of suck though is when some old timer finds out that you like the shit they find that they have to tell you about the stash that they used to have. The stash that ALWAYS has the first superman and the first apperance of Batman but of course mom through them away.
Why did moms do that? It makes no sense. In all the stories i hear about the old days everyone was a waste not-want not penny pincher type so why throw away shit that you spent hard earned coin on? It doesn't add up. I smell a fix here. Oh well, i want to tell them that even if mom didn't huck the shit you still wouldn't have it today. Time, little brothers, weather and just the paper disinigrating in the air all take their toll... That's why old comics have value,cause they all got destroyed. So if you old fuckers had em' today they'd be worthless so quit pining about what could have been and learn a lesson and take care of your shit next time....
