Hey
Well, it's been raining for 24 straight days. Man, it set some sort of local record. The rain makes me miserable. It makes most folks miserable. The central liberry where i work is totally like THUNDERDOME. With all the rain fall there isn't anywhere else for the homeless to hang out. I guess that, well it seems like there are some homeless cliques that don't really get along with other ones and with the rain they all have to congregate in the only dry place and, I don't know.. the tension is thick? I think that is the best way to put it. Tension is thick. I'm suprised that there haven't been any fights or whatever. No, that's wrong. There was a pretty big brawl in thelobby last Sunday. I wasn't there to see it. From what I heard this dude Shannon bounced the bums out the front door and hit the panic button.... Shannon used to bounce at Kodiak Jack's or something before becoming a circ worker.
I wrote that last paragraph last week. It's still raining. i am so not cut out for this Pacific Northwest style of living. My body craves SUN~! Seriously. I am all bummed out and lethargic. I need for this weather to break so that I can ride my bike or whatever. On top of being bummed I am also getting fat. I've gone up a pant size this winter. BLAH.... I am bummed and FAT!
Lets see, uhm, i am finished with I SEE ROBOTS numero dos. Should get them printed up this weekend so set aside some money to purchase one for yourself. It's well worth the sacrifice. I am really starting to feel my characters. I'm juggling a cast of maybe 10 robots. They all have personalities and whatevever, it's like they are Smurfs. All different but really all kind of the same. I see some sort of future in this book. I think the way that this sort of thing works out is that you do book after book, after book and eventually it's I SEE ROBOTS number 123 and people start to notice. I am all itchy... I'm gonna scratch.

So my grandpa has bone cancer. He's had it for a few years now but it's been in remission. It's back now. He's old and is prolly going to die soon. He taught me how to ride a bike and gave me my first ten speed. He was in WWII. Fought in the Pacific. He told me some stories about going down holes and flushing Japs out so that his comrades could pop em'. That's hardcore. After the war he understandably got a drinking problem. He recovered and became one heck of a nice grandpa. I don't know what else to say. He's good and I don't want to write him off but he is old and will pass sooner rather then later. I will miss him quite a bit and wish that I had spent more time talking with him about his experiences. It was a different time and it's history is passing away every day. You can read all you want about it but talking with a real person who was really there is better. I don't need to explain why. I have to go to work now.

I want to tell a story and not be too one sided about it. This lady that I work with told me that she had a cat that she couldn't take care of anymore and she wanted to know if I knew of anyone who might want it. My sister in law Margie works for Forgotten Felines so I told her that I would take the cat in hopes of placing it with some other owner. Good idea right? Well I got the cat, which had just had it's ear removed because of skin cancer. Dude still had stitches and everything. So I got the cat and it's all scratchy and mean and shit. I figged that it would come around after being with us for awhile. You know, an adjustment period, and turn into the nice cat that she promised it to be. No dice. Bitch is meaner then ever.
Here is the kicker. Turns out the reason she didn't want the cat was cause she got her hardwood floors cleaned and the cancer-ear might bleed onto the wood. Nice huh? Cat's 15 yrs old BTW. Cat poops and pees everywhere too. Did I mention that? So I told her that I didn't think that it was working out so she told me that she would come by and get it and have it put to sleep.
I'm the type of dude who has a conscious so if she did that I would feel like it was my fault for not keeping it. It would be too. In a way. So i asked her to kick in a bag of cat food every once and again. More as a gesture then as a necessity. I mean we aren't that broke. When I asked her she was all like "What am I supposed to pay kittie support my whole life" Fuckin bitch. I ought to go and key up her stupid fucking floors. So, ya... that's my story.... The saga of Me and Cancer ear....
Oh, her name is DENISE KRUISE in case someone googles her they can find this tale of sorrow...

SICK DAY MOVIE REVIEWS
So I was homesick yesterday. I had a fever and was all weak and shit. Not that I'm usually any different but like, yesterday was worse. Maybe 2/3rds worse. It's hard to quantify shit like this. Anyway I was home, bedridden and thus spent the day watching DVDs. Not bad. I saw three. One great, one good and one that was pretty cool. First I watched X-MEN II. I'd already seen it but that was like years ago. It's cool. I like it more then the first. It's darker and features a really cool Wolverine berserker rage in which he actually kills people.
After that I moved into a flick that I had never seen before. The Deer Hunter. Now i know. This is a great movie. One thing, is Russian Roulette some kind of big time hobby in 'Nam? I should ask Sara Bir. Her dad was in the shit. I thought very highly of this one. It's weird to see a young Robert Deniro really tear shit up. I've grown used to seeing his newer "Meet The Fokkers" style shit.
The third flick and far and away the best was Saw II. While not as good as the original the sequal had enough scary shit and enough actual thought provoking mystery to keep someone tuned in til the end. Good stuff. On a side note and this doesn't give anything away, the killer turns out to be married to Greg Polyonis' cousin, in real life. Isn't that wild? Well, not really but still worth mentioning.

What's up. My stomach hurts. I found a link to some footage from PUNK SLAM. Check it out. It's off of the Ashtray website. We left during Ashtray's set. The short girl in green stood next to me during the wrestling. She is really short. Like five foot one...

Times up. Sorry I left you. Man, it's like a PARTY IN THE MORGUE up in here. I have no idea what that means. It just sort of leapt out at me. I'm at work. It SUCKS right now. It is so busy that I am doing this. I mean, it is busy and the only thing that's keeping me from FLIPPING THE FUCK OUT is that I'm taking five to write to all of you.
I went to Punk Slam last Saturday. It was a combo Wrestling-punk rock deal at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma. The Wrestling was this little indie deal out of Sacramento called Supreme Pro Wrestling. They're alright. I thought that they cursed to much on the mic but I'm old school as far as my wrestling goes and don't feel that cussing is necessary. What do I know though? Overall it was fun. I like live wrestling. Hey, even if you don't like pro style wrestling that much if you get the chance to go to an indie show for an affordable price think about doing it. On the independent level wrestling is sometimes a lot weirder then you think it might be. Outside of that things are what they are...
UHM, if you haven't yet head over to my other and more important website I SEE ROBOTS> It's a real kick in the pants.
